While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about. ~Angela Schwindt

On the road
Well here we are on a "working vacation", NV-AZ-CO-NV, and I have lots of time to catch up. So here's the two year recap ;)
We have added a son to the family, except not in the traditonal way. His name is Taylor and he's now 22 and has a son of his own, Noah who's 1 1/2, so yup that makes us grandparents! He found us in September of 2009 through none other than facebook, well actually his girlfriend Amanda found us. I now tell her I'm glad she's so nosey, lol. The girls love their big brother and think its awesome to be aunties even though I still can't used to the idea of them calling Noah their nephew. It's so Jerry Springer, just kidding! Though they live in California we've had many visits and dune trips and have enjoyed being a part of their lives. We are so blessed to have these three join our family and are looking forward to many more years of becoming closer and closer as a family.
The girls are now 8 and 4, going into the 3rd grade and kindergarten. They will both be going to Floyd Elementary, which is the first time they will be in the same school together and are looking forward to it, especially Bryn. They just finished their first year of baseball and tball and they were great. We are very proud that even though their teams only had a couple of girls each they really stepped up and played with the big boys. Soccer is next and this will be Brook's 4th year and Bryn's 1st. Bryn is very excited and looking forward to adding to her 1st trophy(tball). We love every minute of watching them grow but the time is going by too fast for our liking. Jon keeps saying he wants them to go back to 5 and 2, but I think it's just because Brook is getting almost too big to carry to bed. I surely can't do it anymore, she's almost as tall as me which is good thing since I'm not very tall and thankfully Bryn is not too far behind her. ;)
In January of 2010 we purchased a 3 carhauler and in April of that year we established Mazlo Transport LLC. It's been rough and tough but here we are past the two year mark and still moving forward. Looking back we see that God put this all together and we truly are blessed to be working for ourselves. Jon gets to be home nearly every night, I get to stay home with the girls while working for him and together we get to go on the road where Jon says he works while we vacation, lol.
We've been to some interesting and beautiful places visiting family and friends and most importantly making memories that we hope the girls can look back on fondly when they are grown with families of their own.
So that's about where we are now, I'm sure I've missed a ton but I think I touched on the most important parts of our lives. Hopefully I will get my blog groove back and be on here more often to chronicle the comings and goings of the Mazlo family. ;)
