While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about. ~Angela Schwindt

Super Bowl Sunday!
It's quite funny that Jon and I don't watch football but that we can never miss the Superbowl
and have a get together every year to watch it. My favorite part of course are the commercials, thought this year I was a little disappointed. Oh well still looking forward to next years commercials.

Daddy's new office!
Jon was promoted to a new position and now runs a tower crane for a project on the Las Vegas Strip. He will get hands on training and accumulate the hours needed to be eligible to test for certification which is a significant pay raise and ups his job security. So he will be busy these next few months but definitely worth it. We are so proud of you Daddy!

Santa!!!

Santa, we promise to leave you cookies and milk but don't be late, our Daddy likes cookies too!
Ah Christmas time. I know most people love the lights or holiday music and of course the presents but for me Christmastime means homemade tamales and menudo! I love my mom, she definitely spoils us. This season was Brook's first ever school function, her class did a Christmas program, they sang songs and quoted Bible scriptures, it was too cute! We even got a "hi mom" from stage and of course I cried...can I still blame that on the pregnancy hormones??? We did our annual Christmas Eve dinner with Grampy and Grammy, Uncle Chris and Becky, Uncle Kermit and his new girlfriend Leah. Of course Grandpa Herman and Grandma Letty were here with Uncle Emrah and this year we got to include our neighbors Cato and Robin with their daughters Shawna and Sheena and our new neighbor Joe, I love small town living! We had a wonderful Christmas Day as well. Merry Christmas to you all!

Brookie's first Christmas Concert, mommy even cried!

Look what Georgia sent mommy, she can't wait for him to come for a visit....where's the black marker??
Look at me I'm sitting all by myself, sort of.
You mean I have to share my toys now????
